Can you think of anyone out there right now who is Presidential?
And by that I don't mean who looks the best, or who has the best numbers . . . I mean who out there, politician or not, is really a leader? Who out there has the timber to REALLY do the job? Forget the fact that whoever WANTS the job is probably unfit for it . . . who out there today is PRESIDENTIAL?

By the way, in case you're wondering, after months of tossing the above question around . . . neither of us has yet to come up with a satisfactory answer.

I think a slam-dunk Republican candidate would be Guiliani, but he has been coy about whether he's running or not. He11 -- he'd probably even beat "Shrillary" in New York!
The only problem I see with him is that he (and McCain, for that matter) is not a fiscal conservative.....of course, neither is Bush, apparently!

The craziest thing about IF Hillary was to wind up our Commander in Chief is that only two families will have run this country for 24 years (28 is she gets re-elected in 2012). That, to me, is the scary part. Our Founding Fathers despised the monarchy system. The Executive Branch was to be the least powerful of the three. And now, the Executive asserts way too much power, to me. Does anyone else think that families of the future could "groom" its' members for the top job, thus keeping certain values, issues, etc. as the important ones for the country?
That 24 year thing is shocking, don't ya'll think?
EDIT: Don't be surprised if the Governor of Florida makes a run for the GOP nomination, little Mr. Jeb Bush. See above comments on why this would be bad.

She very well could get the nomination but she will never make it to the oval office. She just does not have the support, in the public, necessary to every win a general election. People love or hate her, men and women alike, she would not get a huge percentage of the women’s vote.
The only thing Hillary will ever be President of is her household, as she has been every since the day she meant Bill…

It doesn't matter that people either love her or hate her. The image manufacturing hasn't even really started in earnest yet. Marketing and image making is an amazing thing.
She'll become whatever she needs to be. This is going to be one of the most amazing builds ever. Just watch.
(Hell, if W can get elected and then re-elected, anything is possible).
In the meantime, y'all keep believing she doesn't have a chance. That's exactly what she wants you to believe.
Think Sun-Tzu.

Hillary is an absolutely politically brilliant individual however she is also very stupid. For unknown reasons she seems to forget her many little 15 second fits of rage on camera are captured for life for later replay on national TV during election campaigns…
Bush won the first time and the second time basically for one reason. That reason is people felt and believed he was genuine, that he said what he meant even if he can’t speak well.
Right or wrong, people look for that and Hillary doesn’t come close to being genuine nor does she ever really say what she means.
Algore tried re-inventing himself and that is basically what lost him the Presidency because he came across as fake, lost, and not knowing what he really believes in at the moment, same exact thing happen to Kerry ”I voted for the money before I voted against it? and the same thing will happen to Hillary.
She will try and play the Mary Poppins routine, try to tell people how she loves to bake cookies, and how everyone needs to belong to a village of idiots because she is the only one that knows what’s right for everyone else.
I think her ”It takes a village” will come back to haunt her because some bright people will make that seem like ”It takes a village to take care of all the morons in the country” and even morons don’t like being reminded just how stupid they really are…

Funny joke
And just for the record, this is one vote Hillary definitely DOES NOT HAVE. . .EVER! I don't care how much she reinvents herself or how many babies she kisses between now and 2008, she will never win my vote.

Vote for the person you think is best suited for the job. The person you believe in. Not for the guy you think stands the best chance of winning or the guy (or gal) who looks good in the polls.
Who do you think will make the best President? Who believes in the same things you do?
That said . . . on a completely different note (and mostly because I don't want to start a new thread, although I might if there is no response here) . . .
