Come Tuedsay, my F150 and trailer will be headed to Daytona. No, not no bike week harley type posing stuff, but the old man is taking the Team Hammer Race school.

Just got my track bike(Honda RC51) re-geared for the much famous high-speed banking at Daytona. I won't be cooking the 180mph that my buddies will be doing, I gonna keep it down to a cool 170mph on the banking and straights and concentrate on my corner entry speed, mid corner speed, and exit speed.

And my position sucks too, need to work on that also. I found out I can't get enough instructions, so I favor taking as many schools as I can, oppose to crashing and finding out the hard way..

The F150 will be towing my 6x12 enclosed trailer, with my beloved RC51 inside. Sheesh, I don't know which is going to be more fun, braking from 170mph into a 30 mph curve on the Daytona track, or driving the F150 900 sweet miles!!

Will also be taking Cornerspeed Race School at Virginia Int. Raceway (VIR)on March 26th. Then come April 8th & 9th, I am going to raise holy h*ll up at BeaverRun Raceway in PA..

Sheesh, fun starts at over 60!!

Most likely, one person that was going with me can't make it, and my son said he will have to wait until Monday to let me know if he is going with me to help me drive. Right now, I am planning on going by myself. My x wife lives in Raleigh, NC, I might stop there, and my other son lives in Atlanta, GA, I might stop there. I said all that to say, it is going to be 95 all the way.

He certainly isn't a rapper now. When I did an image search for MC Hammer, one of the first things that popped up was him singing with Pat Boone on one of the Christian Channels . . .

A quick look on Wikipedia sez he's a preacher now. Amazing where life takes you, ain't it?
