In case you haven't noticed, there's a lot of things that you do that most people wouldn't...

Kill Bill 1&2 are my favorite flicks. The name "Black Mamba" comes from that, and my truck is black!!
I am getting "Senior Citizen Racing" on the bottom of that too.
BTW, everybody knows I am not dealing with all the cards!!

I will be playing it real close to the chess on the track.
Daytona was fantastic
Daytona, first time ever being on the big speedway, I had a super time, but I wimped out!!(smile)
I was in a Race School. The first session was slow to let students get and idea of the track. I missed the first session cause I had to move my truck before they towed it. I went out on the much faster second session, and I got spooked. The track is bad, no joke, it was for real.
To shorted the story, at the class, the instructor asked how many are racing tomorrow, about 3/4ths the class raised their hands. So, the instructors turned on the heat because the majority of the students were already racers.
After getting spooked, I knew I was off my game. I decided to back down my pace, and just enjoy myself. And thats what I did. I had some things I wanted to work on, but since my concentration was almost shot, I threw that out the window. I had enough concentration to enjoy myself. Period. And If I thought I was losing that, I would had got off the track.
A couple other things happened to me too. I was with 5 of my hometown guys. Three of them had their race licence and two of them were taking the school with me. Three of them crashed. They were okay, pride and bikes got damaged. Coming down the high speed banking at about 165, then coming downhill getting ready for the mean 1st gear lefthander, the corner worker black flagged me. (black flag means I am either doing something wrong or something is wrong with my motorcycle, and to get off the track right away.) I went through the turn gingerly and went straight for the sideline. Come to find out, a part the size of a softball which supposed to have been taken out, came loose on my bike and was hanging down. I was lucky it didn't cause me to crash.. The next time out, I am getting set for the hard right, and then a quick left, when I feel something banging me in the rear. It happened so fast, I don't get a chance to get scared, and because I always stay loose on the clip ons(handlebars), and real loose on the pegs, when the bike got hit, it woobled underneath me, and then quickly righted itself. If I had be holding on tight, I would had crashed.
I survived all of that.(grin) My F150 was the star of the trip. Daytona is 900 miles away from me. I drove down and back all by myself. The F150 took me there like I was on a cloud. Crusing in the 80 to 85 mph range. I took a couple pics.
Here I am just cruising around the raceway

Here is the part that dropped down at 165 mph

Here is where I got rear ended. The other guy hit my pipe square on and did damage to his bike. I got some scuff marks

My homeboys, 3 of them crashed

C you have some big marbles man!!!.
It takes some real guts to go onto a track and race on 2 wheels at those speeds. I hope you enjoyed it. now go get some steak and taters... you look a bit thin bro....
Pretty cool CE.
I've done the Richard Petty Experience at Daytona and that banking is enough on 4 wheels let alone 2.
BTW, does anyone thing that CE looks like a skinny Morgan Freeman?
If he ever makes a bike racing film, you could be his stunt double
