For most of you, I'm not surprised, but with Kobi, that was a real shocker...
Hersh -

I find your surprise about people (or rather me in particular) focusing on OJ dubious at best, considering you placed OJ in the topic title and go back to him at the end of your post, emphasizing that you thought the OJ connection funny.

That said, since you were surprised that I focused on it, in case you're interested, here's why.

I lived in Brentwood at the time of the murder, and in fact I knew Nicole Brown (no not intimately). Although a high density area, there are a slew of stores on San Vicente, along with numerous restaurants, and the locals who frequent them know each other to varying degrees. Therefore, I took a keen interest in the trial (in fact, everyone in Lost Angeles did for that matter) I did not miss a day of that trial, and anyone who watched it who had an IQ over 50, well I can't understand how they could have not found OJ guilty . . . (although I can understand "payback" which is what that verdict was all about). Yup, the prosecuting team were a bunch on morons, and it was a sloppy case, but bloody footprints of OJ's shoes at the murder scene , blood in the Bronco, blood drops in the driveway of OJ's place, cut on OJ's finger, dna evidence . . . equals guilty. That, and Robert Kardashian's expression upon hearing the verdict (which was just classic) pretty much tell the whole tale.

Also, there was one incident that will always stand in my mind, and it was about six months after the trial. I was playing golf and was sitting outside the clubhouse. OJ was on the 9th fairway approaching the green. He and his friends reach the green and OJ misses his putt. As he's walking to the 10th tee he says out loud (really loud so as to be heard) "Damn. Missing that putt was criminal. Criminal I tell you!" then he looked around to see if anyone was looking at him or had laughed at his joke. He's got this big smile, him thinking he's really being cute. No one responded. So the dumb bastard says it again, this time even louder. "I can't believe I missed that putt! Missing that putt was criminal!" and he starts to laugh to himself. I was about 15 feet away from him. Looked him in the eyes, and his smile just dropped, but I knew right then and there, aside from all the evidence, the verdict, whatever my preconceptions of the trial before and after . . . I knew he did it. You could see it. So I said to him "Aren't you supposed to be looking for the real killers?" He didn't say a word, just walked away to the tee.

So, my focusing on the OJ thing has a reason. And yes, I have no doubt he did it.

And in answer to your question:

Screw christmas . . .I'm looking forward to this Tuesday when Apple will announce the new Video iPod that will be ALL screen with a virtual interface . . .

I am going to be SOOOOOOO all over that. Download DVD movies and have them in the palm of my hand. Not have to drag DVDs and a laptop on the plane with me when I travel, just watch a bunch of stuff on my widescreen videoPod . . . also, battery life on the laptop will no longer be an issue.

Anyway.

I know what it's like to be separated from your spouse/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend WHATEVER.

As most of you know I was in the Marine Corps. After returning from Okinawa I got married. After I finally got into base housing, I moved her in with me. It wasn't a month before she was ready to go back home. She had never been away from home her whole life and California wasn't a place for her.

So, I sent her back home to her mommy. It wasn't but about a month before I learned she was cheating. This nasty ho committed 9 counts of adultery. 9 people I went to high school with. From what I was told by some of my friends, she was telling everyone she and I were divorced.

If I would have been home, and not out of leave, I would be in prison right now too.

So, I understand if that's why the dude lost it. I would have too.

BUT! The article doesn't mention anything like that, so I will have to keep my eyes open and find out.
That is a painful blow, a real painful blow and I can sympathize with ya on that. However, you cannot MAKE nobody want you, no matter what. As hard as that pill is to swallow, everybody has a free will.

At times like that, it is really time to show what you are made of and suck it up.. I know that chit is painful, IMO, you are not a man until you go through that heartbreak crap. Worst pain on earth.. Again, you cannot MAKE nobody want you.. Period.

Glad you are okay too, and time heals everything..

IMO, OJ was guilty,
and IMO, Robert Blake was guilty too.

They both beat the system. Our system is not perfect, but it is the best out there..

Oh, Robert Blake TOTALLY guilty!

But enough of how celebrities get away with murder. I want to know how the heck jamz got the "9" to stand out in RED? I don't see a feature for that in the post window.

I see it's bracketed in "highlight" but did you just know to do that manually or is it an option that I'm just not seeing in Safari?

What other cool stuff can we do that is not listed in our available options?

In fact, I just found this in another thread a couple minutes ago. Be aware, not all work.

Dude, THANKS for pointing that out.

I was wondering if some of this stuff could be done.

Fun!

Edited to add: Evidently not.

Haha - I warned you didn't I?
I haven't bothered to go through and find out which work and which don't. Those were the same used in the other post and didn't work. I guess I could have told you those two.
