It's time to pull out!

I fully support our current government in our battles, but I have to agree with this statement...

It's time to reevaluate our involvement!

Every day there are news reports about more deaths. Every night on TV there are photos of death and destruction. Why are we still there?

We occupied this land, which we had to take by force, but it causes us nothing but trouble. Why are we still there?

Many of our children go there and never come back. Why are we still there?

Many of their people are uncivilized. Why are we still there?

The place is subject to natural disasters, which we are supposed to bail them out of. Why are we still there?

There are more than 1000 religious sects, which we do not understand. Why are we still there?

Their folkways, foods and fads are unfathomable to ordinary Americans. Why are we still there?

We can't even secure the borders. Why are we still there?

They are billions of dollars in debt and it will cost billions more to rebuild, which we can't afford. Why are we still there?

It is becoming clear...

WE MUST PULL OUT OF CALIFORNIA!

I pulled out in 1996, and I haven't looked back. The only positive thing I have to say about Cali, is the weather. The rest....sucks!

I go for a visit to Mexicalifornia every now and then. I have a Sister-In-Law in Oceanside. It's (Cali, not O-Side) directly across the river from me, but I stay away for the most... If they ever have "The BIG One" (Earthquake), My property value will skyrocket!!! I'll end up even closer to the beach!!!

I remember Ocean "SLIME". It wasn't my cup of tea either. San Clemente was nice, if you were a millionaire.

Yup, it doesn't help when they cut the Border Patrol's budget and then complain about the massive insurgent of illegals. Uhhhh Duhhhh the only thing that pisses me off more than that is our welfare system. I don't even want to get started on the worthless people that are on that. I'd say about 15% of the people on welfare actually need it, the rest just abuse the system.

Yeah? Well two weeks ago it was 85 degrees and we were at the beach. Two days ago it was snowing and we were playing in the snow at Idyllwild (mountains nearby). Today its sunny, 74 degrees and beautiful.

3 months from now I'll be swimming in my pool, surfing at the beach and enjoying another summer in California!

Sorry folks, but California, despite the numerous problems we have is still hard to beat.

We have to admit this thread really had us going, whew what a relief.
You know, it's been a rough week for the both of us.
We really needed a good old fashioned knee slapper like this.

Thanks again,
from both of us.

Vait, hold on for one minute, will you plhease?
I do not see what is with the humor here.
These are simply exagerations with have no founding in da fact.
I for one am very dissappointed in you, ok?
Now go and do better, you know you can, just do better, whatever it takes.
