Men's hockey - USA vs Finland

I'm watching this game on the USA network, is this game live or current?

If so, I won't ruin it for the others that are recording it.

I hate to say it... but Canada is going to lose. I think those NHLers walked in thinking it would be too easy, especially after the Ladies kicked butt.

They haven't had a good game yet (even the ones they won)

Well, if people are recording the game and don't want to know what the scores are, they shouldn't be opening threads like this.

All I have to add is... the US mens hockey team has been one big disappointment. These guys are supposed to be our nations best? Hockey has a long way to go to heal itself from last seasons strike, and the olympics were a good chance to help that process. However, with the US team getting their asses handed to them nearly every game, I don't think it is helping the enthusiasm from the general sports fan to watch a game either in the olympics, or when the NHL season resumes.

Yep, 1-4-1 is definitely not a solid record

what a disapointment....

i used to skate with peter laviolette
we grew up in the same town

although i'm much older
but it was cool back in the late 80's early 90's
when he was with the rangers during the summer he'd skate with us and bring a few rangers with him

what good games
