It might be another driver, it might be pit crew, it might(hopefully) be himself. I agree that the point is to win, but when you ignore the well being of everyone else around you, including drivers and pit crew, that speaks volumes about your true character. But, you will always have those shady, good for nothing drivers on the track, that dont care about anyone else, and Stewart is that guy.
Seniors early years were probably more blatant than Tony's. He was notorious for the bump to get you loose or spin you out and then pass. Sr also was hated in his early years. Many of us learned to love him over time. What Tony did yesterday was payback for lap 20. And when Tony wins a race, he wins on his own. Nobody out there gives him help like others get. The reason I like Tony is because he reminds me of Dale Sr.

Another Jimmy Johnson fan here, no i didn't just hope on his band wagon either. My bother worked for Lowes for 14 years, and am just glad to have the car shown on tv for doing something other than wrecking (thanks Mike Skinner). I find it odd they kept showing the replay of Tony taking out the #17, but they never showed the initial incident that started it, on lap 20. Not that i am defending Tony, what he did was stupid, and he may very well have killed someone with his stupid driving. It's just typical restrictor plate racing, but thankfully there wasn't a huge wreck this time.

Go #48!!

Seems to me that this behavior is becoming his MO... They should kick his **** right out of Nascar!!!

from what I saw, and this is my opinion, Kenseth came at Tony and disturbed his balance and caused his rear end to break loose on him while in a corner. Kenseth could have stayed up high and let tony pass on the inside like as was happening, but Kenseth tried to make Tony slow by coming at him. He did this intentionally, but nobody judged that move.

and I dont think Tony hit Matt, I think he swerved into the grass causing him to spin out

Stewart is good for NASCAR whether you lovem or hatem. Fans like controversy. He is not the only one who has purposely taken someone out. If he feels someone is trying to take him out he's gonna retaliate. His complaint about racing is bump drafting in a turn. If it wasn't him in the middle of a controversy it would be someone else.

And did I hear the interview with Johnson correctly? "This win is for all the people that hate us". My hearing isn't what it used to be but that is what I though he said.
