when will the producers tell the cameramen to wipe off the lenses??

I thought that some of the cams (in the turns, especially) were not operated by a person directly, hence the always wet lens. That said, if they can clear the lens on a car getting hit with rubber and moisture going 190+, then they can surely clean the lense on a camera sitting stationary in a corner, if indeed they are truly remotely operated.

 

But it's not Live; it's tape delayed.
