Wow. You've completely misread that one, brother. That was intended for C.E., thats why I quoted him, not yourself. I wholeheartedly concur with what you say! I said almost the samething that you did, I'm not arguing with you. The N word is '******', or '*****', whichever suits the time. It's a word that if used by a white person brings to mind visions of the KKK, but if used by a black man it instills some sort of comraderie. I have yet to figure it out....

Isn’t the first thing you learn after you win or lose a game you shake hands with the other team. So I say send him to some place like Iraq with his attitude and then he how much he likes being a loner. He probably got an "F" in works and plays well with others in school. Well that is just my $.02
I guess that answers my last question of my first post...

I don't know what they show you in America but he definitely congratulated the #3 Wennemars and vice versa.
In fact there is a strong bond between them and it showed.

As for Cheek, I don't know.
In an interview about Davis, it appeared that there are problems in the US skating team. There is little communication between Davis and the rest of the team. In fact, it seems they don't dig him at all. Dan Jensen and Cheek didn't want to give their opinion about Davis.
I found that peculiar, there is something going on.
Hopefully it is not because he is black.
The best has won.
Congratulations on the gold and silver medal, we got bronze.
This evening we got gold.

Until liberals such as yourself stop pointing out dumb crap such as this, race will always matter b/c you say it makes a difference. If it doesn't, why bring it up? MY question is this: What kind of person is he? Is he more like T.O., or Denzel Washington? THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!
By the way,the minorities didn't bring this race thing.. They weren't the ones that started this. They didn't make all the segregated laws, and jim crow..
You know, everytime a minority makes some headway in something major, there is always some stink. Never fails..

What kind of person is he? He is not a criminal as far as I know. And if he is in the O games, he must have something on the ball. However, just like blacks weren't allow in golf courses a while back, and lot of sports were closed to them. Such as Jackie Robinson in baseball. He caught the same kind of flak. I would like to take the goody-goody talkers such as you (no offense)and put you in a time machine and send you back to the time when Jackie Robinson walk out on the field for the first time to play major league baseball. And put you on the loud speaker and to tell the all white crowd what you are telling me here!!
They might would have strung you up..
The point is, doors were closed to a lot of minorities on a lot of things. Yeah, things are better now, but not all the way. In addtion, when a minority breaks new ground and shows that they can do just as good as anybody else if given the chance, it is always some flak. !
Why????
Remember Wendell Scott??

However, you are up front with your opinon.. No sugar coating, behind the back, or sideways talking. Just Straight up don't like it/them/whatever.
No problem,
I respect that.
By the way, I recall when some people thought just like you,(not fit to wear the uniform) and during WWII when black soldiers came home from fighting for this country they were lynched with their uniforms on..
Here is another one you can take with you too. Back during WWII, german POWs in the south were given more rights than blacks even black soldiers who were fighting for this country. So, history paints a nice picture of what went on, and when people feel proud that they have broke some bonds and can do just as good as anybody else when given the chance, we here this off the wall stuff.
Hey, I am just giving replies to what I am hearing. I am quoting not too long ago history too, and how history has a bearing on actions of today.
Your sig, nicel looking truck..

Yeah, you're right. THAT WAS THE PAST. I realize you getting up there, but you have to change with the times. If 25 years ago someone told you that you'd own a computer and chat with a guy in Georgia as easy as amking a phone call, you'd laugh. Well, times are changing brother. I couldn't care less what color a persons skin is, just what they're made of. I use the 'N' word to describe both whits and black people who are uncilvilized, unkept, and basically everything that rap personifies. Those are the people I don't want around my kids or my wife. Bottom line is this: Be that it may you remember the history that you do, look at the world today.

Don't like to quote history, but history has an affect on actions of today. Our country came out of history. People want to be free. However, I cannot understand how people can leave one country to seek freedom, but found a way to enslave others. That started this whole chain reaction.
Then when fair minded people saw where it was wrong, they tried to make it right. But, people will always come with flak about others becoming equal. Don't know why. And they come with all kinds of ways to keep people down.. History proves that..
Back to Davis in winning gold in a sport where there are few minorities. And when the minorities celebrate that people some get offended. That is when I quote history. And we got a lot of it..too..
Your know what the "grandfather clause" was???
Again, I am not the one whining, I am replying to some of these sideway posts, and I am coming with reasons why actions happened.
Somebody said he wasn't fit to wear the red, white and blue.. that one really got too me..
I don't know it all, or even claim too. but, I do know that 2 and 2 is not 5!!

That's typical liberal (yes, I used it again) propaganda. No where in his post did he say b/c the dude was black that he shouldn't have been allowed to compete. All nditech said was that based on his viewing of Shani Davis' actions, he didn't think that he should have been allowed to complete. You're making somthing out of nothing! That's how all black activists are.

Hey, like I said, I'm happy this guy is getting the respect he deserves. He's obviously worked hard to get it, and that is what I admire. The odds may have been against him but he made it. I think if more people, and not people of a specefic race, would put in the work, they could further themselves. They could earn respect instead of of respect being an entitlement.
Congrats Shani Davis. You did a good job when most of the other AMERICANS sucked (from what I've heard).
