We'll see!!!

I was in DC for a visit, and had planned to stay until Sunday morning. I left at 6:30PM on Saturday instead, to stay ahead of the weather. It was a little squirelly; but, I made it to NC in 5.5 hours, including food and fuel stops. I did make it to the Smithsonian (Museum of American History) for a few hours before I left though. I wish I had gone to the Museum of Natural History instead. Maybe next time. Hope you guys enjoy the weather.

I say again. . .

Y'all can have the snow, I'm ready for spring

Although we haven't had an enormous amount of snow this winter, clearing a 500' driveway with a 22" snowblower got old really, really fast!! We've had beautiful sunny days for the last week, not very warm but enough to make me think spring is out there somewhere!! Course it'll probably snow a foot next week

I so feel like I'm repeating myself!!

Send some of that down to South Texas, in SA, we haven't seen good snow in 20+ years.

Normally now I would step in and tell you guys how I am riding my Harley this weekend. But no, two of our local weathermen said there is a pretty good chance it will snow in Tampa on Monday morning. The first since 1989. It never sticks and the entire Tampa Bay area freaks out when this happens. They pull off to the side of the road and stand in it palms up saying WOW!

The news says we have 8" here. I look out the door and it looks more like 12" that I'm going to have to shovel. At least it's light.

I have to go out in a few hours. All we have are 2 wheel drives. My winter beater Taurus is pretty good in the snow. I wont be slowing anyone down. I know how to keep moving without banging into stuff.
