You should have just explained to him that you went over there to have relations with her, but when it came time you were sickened by the warts, hair, and smell and you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
It made her mad, you had a fight, too late to go home, so you slept in his bed alone and frustrated and....well you know the rest.
