RockyJ must be Rich

So last November I inquired with ya'll if I should do anything with two trees next to the house...

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=219052

I had someone come out to give me an Estimate. Beejebas!

Front yard tree $200 to trim
Side of house tree $100 to Trim

Other: Crab apple tree in back yard. $150 to cut down $70 to grind stump.

Looks like I'm going to have to do this myself. I'm afraid of chain saws though so it might not be easy.

$520 for all that work? Man right a check and quit being so cheap.

My sister has to pay $5000 to get 3 trees dropped in her back yard

Yeah, that's not too bad UC. I have a pecan tree in my back yard and it takes two people to reach around it. I had a guy give me a quote to see how much it would cost to trim it up, and he told me $1500. For one tree.

Depends on how much is trimmed, but prices seem about right.

Prices may be right but I'll be damned if I can't do all that myself in a day (except the stump). At 8 hours that's like $65 an hour in my pocket.
Subtract the cost of disposal or whatever and I'm still making out like a bandit.

You can get all that work done in 8 hours? Including stump removal? No way...

Cheapskate

Hey Mattineer! You listening? Could be a new career for you. Hard work but the money is good.

P.S. To my knowledge, there is no Squirrel Union either.

I didn't include the stump in my post

Besides, I could use the $500 on something worth while like truck mods! :santa:

I'm cheap remember? I cringe every time she downs one of those $2 Starbuck Doubleshot cans she gets at the store. I also cringe when she brings out the space heater cause I have the thermostat set at 68.

Are you sure you want Mattineer armed with a chainsaw? Next post ffrom him will be "You guys remember that commercial where they cut that car in half? Well, I'm looking fo a new truck now..."

I suppose it would be rather funny...

I'm scared of hights, so thats not going to be job anytime soon!

I had 10 trees taken down just last summer, stump removal, clean up all included for only 2,500 bucks! I thought that was a great deal! The trees were HUGE!
