Coffee flat . . . . dang it.

For the past 3 days my coffee has tasted flat.

No matter how many scoops i put in, no matter which kind of coffee -

FLAT.

Tastes like coffee flavored water.

Coffee maker working?

Check.

Water filter changed recently?

Check.

Other foods and beverages still have full flavor?

Check.

I don't know what's up. I was up at 6 AM today!!!! I almost never get up that early!!!! It's at times like this I NEED STRONG COFFEE !!!!!!

And what do I get?

Meh.

OK. I'm done.

We now return you to the forums, already in progress.

I could use a quintuple espresso right now:

Scrub your tounge with your toothbrush, then rinse with listerine. About 2 hours later, you should be back to normal.

I do that twice every day.

Floss too.

(Not that you needed to know this)

So that's not the problem.

I think you have built up a tolerance to coffee

The way I see it you have two options.

1. Chew coffee grinds.

2. take a break from coffee for a few weeks to let your taste buds reawaken and ache for a taste of coffee...

Assuming #2 is just a pipe dream...flossing is important...them grinds really get stuck between the teeth.

Coffee on

Maybe you shouldn't floss the tounge so aggresively...

hope no one takes that out of context
