What motor and tranny? Ditch the auto locking hubs for some manuals before you get stranded in 3x4 mode.

Theres a couple of those super low miles 96's floatin around with one only having 72 miles. A few people musta bought and stored one back right before the Bronco name was laid to rest.

It will stay mostly stock until next year. This year, it will see a rebuilt rearend, new stereo system, custom console, and possibly a rebuild on the engine. This week, I'll be removing the running boards. I just don't care for running boards on Broncos.

Next year, manual hubs, rear locker, 2.5" lift, 34" tires, Interior roll bar.

The auto hubs were a little weak if I remember right. I am sure thats why he suggested the swap.

So now you are suddenly an expert on the 80-96 Dana 44 TTB with the Ford auto locking hubs

Speaking from actual ownership,Tritanianeer, the auto hubs are a common failure.
