Man, are you crazy?? It's been a TERRIBLE winter! I've only put on 40 miles on my sled this year! I should be well over a thousand by this time!

Bro you live in the wrong part of the snow belt for snowmobiling. Move a bit south and your in the snow for sure. We have 18" right now and its still snowing. come on down... lots of riding

rained all last weekend up there..no snow
the way it looks now i'm not going to even bother to register it this yr..

and i just had the engine rebuilt

it just dont make any sense

I'm with you. I figured it would be a safe bet to make some extra money by plowing/shoveling while in school. So much for that idea, I think I've been called in to work 4 times this winter.

sweet, 22"-34" of snow. at least its over a couple of days.

 

It continues to snow like hell south of buffalo. we have about 20" and it has not stopped yet. Yes more to come. I have lived through 49 buffalo winters good ones bad ones. I just have to drive right through the snow bands every night to get to work and man its gets real old real fast!! 60 miles each way... go away snow...

 

hows the road crews do on the roads when it snows that hard and so fast? do they keep up pretty good?
and how the heck do you keep up with shoveling the drivway all the time??

 

The plow crews do a great job but when its blowing like it is now its an impossible task to keep up. There is a spot called the chaffee flats some on here that posted know the spot well (near earls rest) it blows like hell in there and they have a plow just for that 2 mile area.

I have a private road that is 900 feet long and then my driveway is another 300' so shoveling is not happening. I have a 84 4x4 K5 blazer with a plow that i use to clear it. It has been woirking its tail off this week so far...

 

Take pictures if you can! I'd love to see how this snowfall turned out over there!

Over here people freak out over 4-5 inches of snow and make a big deal of it, so 30 and more inches of snow is just unreal!

This winter has been awsome. Only really snowed once (although it was a huge blizzard). I got a lil mad today when it started snowing, but it melted right as it hit the ground. All over in about 2 hours, if you didnt see the snow falling you wouldnt even have know it snowed.

We're finally getting some sunshine, cold at night but up to 40° today!! It's starting to feel like spring is around the corner but I just know this streak of sunny days is going to end with one hell of a snowstorm. . .

 

You need to move up north. 2:00pm right now, and we only have about an inch in the city.

 

Like thats gonna happen. I lived in the ****y for many years and i lived north of it also. I am happy with my country setting and just deal with the elements. Its the price one must pay to be where i am at. Living north is way to flat, i like the foothills and trees and lack of people. No pollution down this way.
