I love the Stones too, but there comes a time when enough is enough.
I'm not saying they sounded great, but come on. There were many worse halftime shows than this one. I just have respect for these guys to keep going after all these years. And everyone knows them. From 20 year olds to 60 year olds. I couldn't jump around like Mick did tonight if I were 60.

Think about it this way: If you didn't know who the Stones are, what would you have thought of the show? Musically, it really bit the big one.

I'm a longtime Stones fan, though, so I thought it was cool to see them. Hard not to remember the young Stones doing some of those songs when you see them now...

I don't think, though, that I'll rush out and try to see them on their current tour.

I thought they sounded like crap. That being said, I would listen to their crap all day before I listened to any cRAP. I am NOT a Stones fan. Oh yeah, the Stones were the top grossing act of all time in 2005. FYI

+1......their attempt to sing that song was a disgrace to this nation....fooking Ashley Simpson could have lip-synced better than that....and at least she does not have that silver-dollar sized mole on her face either.......

The network butchered a tradition all around.
Hope they learn thier lesson next year.
I dont ussually watch football, but I always catch the Superbowl.
If it's not better next year then I won't care to see SB XLII.

You're just too young to appreciate a legend. Todays bands will never accomplish what the Stones did.
