Weird/Unexplained phenomena in your life
When I was a baby, my Mom had a dream that she was flying over a really large flat building with a tower. The top of the building looked like a computer keyboard but their was large puffs of smoke coming from the keyboard.
So what you may ask. Dreams are stupid...
She got up the next morning, turned on the TV and the news explained a fire at the Cincinati airport (where they used to live) caused my a malfunctioning computer.
Pretty wild.

Well he was staying at my sisters house for the last few weeks of his life. One day on my way home from work I got the call from my sister that he had passed so I turned around and went to be with her and my other sister. The coroner came and pronounced him and all that stuff and then came out of his room and told us that they were going to remove him and that most people don't like to watch so we went outside and stood behind the house. When we heard them open the door and out onto the deck my sister screamed and strated shouting and crying while telling us to look into the sky. We all turned around to see a single cloud in the sky in the perfect shape of an angel. She ran in to grab a camera and took two pictures.
There were six people there that day and every one of us saw it. The officer that was helping at the scene came over and asked my sister to give him a call when she got the pictures back be cause he wanted a copy. She rushed into town as soon as everything was taken care of to get them developed so she could put a picture of dad's angel in the casket with him. When she went back to pick them up the two pictures she had taken were totally white frames. Evrything else on the roll came out perfect but those two were completely over-exposed.

coincidence. the white robed angel with bird wings and matching harp is courtesy of drunken French & Dutch painters from the 17th and 18th century.
The same ones that somehow changed Jesus into a long haired white man when he was a short haired Arab.
You saw an angel because you chose to see an angel in your time of mourning.
Completely explained.

I've heard stories from family members of people who were on thier death beds. One I heard just recently was from my Mom. She told me that when she was in labor with me, she almost died. She's 4'11" tall, and I broke her tail bone when I was born, and she almost bled to death.
She said the Dr. wouldn't let her hold me after I came into this world. I think he feared she might have harmed me because of the pain I put her through.
Then my Mom told me my Aunt's friend from church had a vision of a short, blonde headed lady laying on a white blood covered bed on the brink of death.
My Aunt's friend from church told my Aunt what she saw, and they prayed.
My Aunt came straight to the hospital. She didn't even know that my Mom was there. Something just led her into the hospital room and she told Mom about the vision her friend had of a short, blonde headed woman, on a blood covered white operating table, about to die. And that they prayed for her.
That woman on the bloody table was my Mom in labor with me!
Another story was from another Aunt who's husband died last year. He was part Indian. She said on the day he died he was laying there in his hospital bed. All of a sudden he said "Who's that girl on that white horse over there?"
My Aunt told him she didn't see anything. But she knew it was an angel coming to take him home. He died that day. In my opinion, I think he saw the Spirit Horse that the Indians believe comes to take you to the afterlife when you die.
Another story I heard is from a guy I know who said his father was on his death bed with lung cancer. He said his Dad told him one night he was laying there in bed, and a "wheel within' a wheel" (Can be found in Ezeikiel) came down through the ceiling and slowly went straight through his torso. Then it came out, and went straight back up through the ceiling.
He said his Dad told him there was no more pain after that. He went to the Dr. and had a test done to check on his cancer. It was gone!
Eventually, the cancer came back and he died six months later. I guess it was meant for him to stay around a little longer?
These are all true stories believe it or not.

I haven't yet met a professional photographer that only takes 1 picture. They take multiple shots because mistakes happen.

But like I said "I saw an angel" because it looked like something off a Christmas card? I just don't believe it.

He said when the roll was developed, all the other pictures came out "A-OK" except for the two angel shots. I guess that's just a coinsidence eh?

so that means the film itself is okay.
doesn't address that maybe she had her exposure set too high.
Professional photographer=manual camera
Ran and grabbed camera from inside in a hurry= interior exposure settings
wrong setting = overexposed on development
I'm not doubting the image matrixing theroy, even a group image matrixing event is not un-heard of nor uncommon. Tha twas my first thoughts too.
I can even give a plausiable explination for the womans voice in a room where only a man was asleep.
If I am remembering right from other threads he said she uses a Canon EOS. It is a Canon Rebel but can't remember the model for sure.
An amature nor professional photographer will not just push the button twice. Becasue it doesn't take long to figure out that you end up with two pictures exactly the same, good or bad. If you want two of the same image then just get double prints and save your money. To take a second pic you run thru set up again incase you missed something the first time, or you change your settings. What are the odds of missing the exact same simple, very basic thing twice in a row. I know it is completely possible, but so is hitting the lottery. I'm not saying that it's unexpalinable, nor impossiable. I'm just saying that it is extremely odd.
As an ameture I would have been confident with one, but of course I use digital so I have an instant preview.

Let me clear up the info a bit.
1. Yes there is a pro photographer in the family but it is my sister-in-law, not my sister.
2. She was using a high end Pentax 35mm P&S camera that never leaves the automatic settings.
3. there were six people there and all of us saw it. The county coroner and a deputy sherreif were two of these six people so it wasn't just an emotional sighting of mourn.
4. I know my way around a camera pretty good and I could see if they were totally under-exposed that maybe she forgot to open the lens cover, but these were white frames showing complete over-exposure from a flawless automatic camera.
5. She still has, and uses this camera to date, and it has never failed again in this way.
If there is anyone that can give me a logical or scientific explanation for either of these stories I am all ears. It gives me the ******* to think about it, and being able to put reason to it might make it easier to live with.

Okay, I got TWO of them. And they are both equal in their unexplainable nature.
First, 1976, I am driving my 1976 280z with my two young sons in the other seat. I always had 10 inch Momo steering wheels, and when I changed lanes, it is one quick movement. My suspension was fully tuned, oversize wheels and tires, Mulloland shocks, struts, springs, and anti swaybars It was cold, and I was moving at about 85 mph. . Small snow flaries started to come down, I didn't slow down, and when I went to make one of my super quick lane changes, the Z car broke into a 360 degree spin in the middle lane, cars on both sides whizzing by. My car made about 3 complete revolutions. When it first happened, I remember it like it was yesterday too, and my first words to my self, in thinking about my two sons in the other seat, was OH MY GOD. No sooner than it happened it was over with. My car stopped spinning right in the middle lane and facing forward. No cars hit me and they were still zooming by. I eased the car over to the shoulder of the road, took my two sons out, and knelt down on the side of the road, and all three of us said our prayers. Even now, the thought of that brings tears to my eyes. Needless to say, that was the last time I drove fast with my kids in the car. That was a miracle.
Second, back in 1979, racing some hotshots on a derserted strip, my 1974 Kaw 900 (bore out to 1100cc) went into a high speed wooble, and I highsided at an honest 143 mph.. With nothing on but a full coverage Shoei helmet, shirt, jeans, and cowboy boots. When I hit the ground, I must have hit the right angle as to roll, roll and roll. That scraped off skin, but nothing got broken or tore off. AFter I stopped rolling, I am up, bleeding everywhere, looking for my bike. The riders that I have left way behind, thought they would see body parts when they reached where I had crashed. All I got was a lot of road rash, nothing else. That was a miracle too.
