Now that's becoming a multi-millionaire the hard way.
He better settle before Bush can push through his tort reform.
Otherwise, he may just end up with his medical paid and a new shirt.

One of the toughest things about Law Enforcement is having to deescalate following an extreme adrenaline rush during a pursuit. Experience will help, but it's still difficult even for a vet. I make it a point to never second guess, or what if a situation like this, because I wasn't there. But I have to admit, this video looks bad.
That's what I hear. I think it came from another Deputy. That may have been the confusion. One Officer gives a command and the cover Officer didn't hear it. I will say this, the shooter didn't help himself any the way he cursed. That alone would get days off in some agencies!
THATS TOTAL BS...................Pisses me off
For those who couldnt see or hear it...it goes like this,,,one guy on the ground, two cops, one on either side of the guy. Cops are yelling at the guy, alot of profanity. One cop says get up..get up, the guy goes to get up and the other cop shot him at least three times.
SORRY, that cop needs to loose his job NOW, TODAY!!!!!!!! No questions asked. I understand the adrenaline rush after a chase and all, but being a cop and knowing you will be in those positions, you need to be able to calm yourself and think rationally at all times. Once you loose that ability, its time to become a security guard at Wal-Mart. There was absolutely no reason to shoot that guy after the one cop told him to get up. Damn,,my blood is boiling right now.
And yes...not all cops, and from my experiences not many at all are like that. But unfortunately, a few bad ones gives the entire force a bad name.
I hope the shooter goes to jail..better yet, let the guy he shot, shoot him 3 times and then call it even.

Right now I must reserve judgment for the simple fact I couldn’t really see what the hell was going on.
To be honest neither can anyone here, and in my opinion, everyone here has a particular perception of what “might” have happen.
Perception means nothing without all the facts because perception is the opposite of “fact”.
I heard them instruct the guy to get up BUT what happen then? While the guy got up did he reach in his pocket? Did he not show his hands? Did the office feel threaten because of the actions, other then just getting up?
It very well could be an open and shut case of a screwed up and unprofessional cop and if so he deserves to do serious time in prison for it. However, until it has been properly investigated nobody “really” knows what happened that night for sure expect the two cops and the guy on the ground…

The press likes to show only what they want you to see for a bigger interest in the story, trust me. For all we know that guy just killed someone, or perhaps the police stopped it from happening and when they told him to get up he had a gun or knife in his hands, or like someone else said he put his hands in his pockets or would not remove them.
Don't be so damn quick to jump on the police for the first thing that MAY look like they may have made a bad judgement call. They never get the credit they deserve for the positive things, so do them a favor and at least hear out the whole story before your ready to lock them up for the rest of their life for doing their job.
