I know, I found a 1979 Checkmate 16 or 17 Predictor, with a freshly rebuilt and bored out Merc 120, I think he wanted like 2000 for it. He probably still has it. The interior was shot, wood had long rotted away, fiberglass was good, but it was a little faded. And it needed new tires and a cover. I'm still debating on this one. And what makes me mad is that my uncle had a jet boat with a 460 in it, that he GAVE to his friend. I told him that I wanted it, but I hadn't talked to him in a while. It was in crappy condition, but it was a CA boat, so it just basically needed an engine rebuild and a new interior. It would have been soooo badass.
