Slow down there, fella -- after 9 years in Texas I have just now gotten to the point where whenever I see someone driving down the road with a cowboy hat on I don't think to myself, "I wonder where the costume party is?"

Seriously -- I moved to Houston in late October, and when I would drive around those first few weeks and see all these guys wearing cowboy hats I just thought they were all headed off to a Halloween party!

Some of the real cowboys don't even take off their hats when they go to bed. Pretty amazing.

Here's the way i see it mountaindorky, I have friends in union jobs and they seldom get laid off. They are "HARD" workers not union slackers just getting by with little effort. They continue to excel at what they do and there is a demand for them when other job's open up after they finish a job. They already have another job lined up due to them being hard workers, being on the job each day and on time. Now i figure you are the slacker that no one wants and never ask for when jobs become available. prove me wrong!!!. If your in a union these days you need to be better than the average "JOE" or you get bypassed every time. 23 bucks an hour give me a break, stop bitching and work harder, keep your yap shut and do a better job and you will see how far it goes to wards keeping your bad spelling azz working consistently.
But you know the world will always need ditch diggers!!!!

Here Matt, I will give you an idea....
Go to American Airlines, or United Airlines....well go to all of the airlines...and apply to be a baggage handler…I have a friend who works for AA as a baggage handler and his job is physical and his airline tickets are practically free…and somehow he hooks up with a lot of punana....

BUT...put me and you on the same job together, I bet you any money I can work 10 times harder then you can and will! By no means am I a slacker!
