"Lord of War"

Worth buying / renting. (I don't rent much, I'd rather buy it)

I gave it about 30 minuets, then threw in in the trash.

No talent hack, that Nicolas Cage.

Just my opinion.

I enjoyed it. Much better then his latest movie, Weather Man. Although the Abe Lincoln scene in WM was hilarious.

Bought it? I only buy movies that I know I like.
I have a dismal DVD collection.
Last addition was "Wedding Crashers"
Before that was "Goodfellas"
Notice the span.
But the kids ownd any DVD that is stamped by Disney.

Edited to add: Wait, I did buy "Pearl Harbor"

Maybe I'm just not much of a TV guy, but I will never understand the purpose of buying a movie. You can rent a DVD for $2 or buy it for $20. Either way you will only watch it one time. Same goes for those lousy CDs they are putting out these days. At least $15 for one song and 14 other horrible noise makers. DVDs and CDs are the biggest "little" money wasters. Who is with me!!!!!!

I thought "Lord of War" was a really good movie. Tragic subject, but very entertaining, and where they took the ending was not what I expected at all.

And as far as buying DVDs go, I live in Del Rio, TX right now and if I want to see it, I have to go to Walmart to buy it as the only Blockbuster in town will not have it, guaranteed! How's that for depressing?

Nah, can't go with you there on the DVDs. PITA to go find something (never have what I want), never get just 1, watch it on schedule, get it back to store. CDs on the other hand, I'll buy some compilations, but otherwise I'll get it from iTunes.
