Much better luck than I. A 50 or 100 spot here and there, but not often.

I do a lot of gun tickets and such, won a few guns, and some cash and other items.

Still in the hole though.

I've never won, but I've never played, so I'm not going to answer.

Tx keeps jacking with the amount of numbers and what not; so I don't play the numbers. I will get a scratch off every now and then; I put in about $200 a year with nothing over $20 in winnings every few months. I guess thats why it's called gambling.

About 5 years ago I played the Lotto 6/49 and got close....

The numbers I selected were:
1-2-4-18-29-35

The winning numbers were:
1-2-4-18-28-35

I won $1,992 for my efforts, bleh.
If the 28 was a 29, the prize was 10M.

I still have nightmares over it.

lottery is a tax for people bad at math. Never paid it, never will. Better odds by flushing dollar bills down the toilet.

I've only won small amounts >5.00. I only play when it's over 10m. The way I figure it, the odds of winning make it a sure bet that I'll lose, but someone has to win and you can''t win if you don't play. When it is over 10m I play $1.00 only no more, and it's just to get in the game. With my luck, if I ever did win the lotto so would about 10m other people and I'd only receive a dollar.

I don't do lotto. The odds of winning are just too large, seems like a waste of hard earned cash on the off chance you'll win big.

We just got the lottery a few months ago. Since it is new, everyone is playing a lot. The most I won was $20 on a $5 scratch off card. I have not played that much though.

I'll play Mega Millions once it gets really high. I've probably played it 30 times. Just $1 each time. It's worth $1 to me just to watch the numbers drop and have the fantasies of hitting it big.

I think I matched the Mega ball one time and won $5.

A few times I've had family in town and I'll buy a ticket for them and leave it on their nightstand. It's kinda fun to sit around and BS about what you'd do with the money.

I've spent more for less

That's true but you have to play to win. I figure I should play at least a dollar on the big lottery every once in a while just incase I have it coming. However, I don't play, I just figure I should.

I agree but when the office pool collects I always put in a buck.

Do I think we are gonna win? Heck no....but dangit I wont be the only one working the following Monday if that sucker hits....so $1 isnt bad to insure the continued misery of my fellow co-workers

I've never won at the lotto but I rarely play. I think hubby plays when it gets real big.

I did win $2 once on a scratcher! THAT WAS AWESOME!

My thoughts exactly. I've had a few small winners, but nothing in a looooong time.
