I am NOT tech support!!!!!!
Psst jamz... the front USB ports should just plug into the Mother board with a 2 string hard wire. Unplug that wire and boot up. May have to disable them in bios. But not likely, worse case scenario it will pop up with an error message each boot that they can't be found. Click OK and move on.

The acid in the urine most likely ate the plastic insulation inside the USB ports. Soon as you hit the power button it is a dead short. Unplug them, disable them in bios, then tell your wife you got it to limp along for now, but not sure how long it will last. Then when you get your taxes back. Plug them in and enable them then tell wife it finally fried.

Then you can still be working on your **** library til taxes arrive!

I think it may be too late for that. I tried that at first....but it still wouldn't boot. I am getting a new one when taxes come in.
