Question I Need a Toy, a Project or Something...

Yes I have the Cobra, but I cannot mod her to the point I want to. Atleast not yet. So I need something to take out my need for speed or fun on...

I have three ideas in mind.

1) Mod the living **** out of the Jeep. I mean from the rubber up. Build a nice streetable trail rider. I've always liked trail jeeps and never had the time or money to build one as I was always dumping my funds and time into go fast cars. lol (kills my only ride with decent MPG but how much fun)

2) Bike. Sportbike. SV650. PonyBoy's suicide I think. (fun, great MPG too, very limited time, death lol)

3) Project fox. Like what it says find and another fox. I do like this idea but space is uber limited so may not be the best idea.

4) Insert yours here...

John

Don't laugh...build a racing lawnmower. Find an old rider and test your skills building and racing. Looks like a lot of fun, doesn't cost all that much and doesn't take up too much space.

Yeah, I know I don't use my sig alot. Usually just when I post something in the v6 forum. But rest assured, I like it.

I'm with 98lariet, you should look into gas powered RC. I've got a Traxxas t-maxx and these things have an aftermarket with no end. I dont have many mods on mine because I've been spending all my money on my truck but when I get some extra cash i'm going to put about $700 into it and make it awesome. Right now it's a pile of parts because I took it apart to check for any broken parts and it needed cleaning. Just go to the traxxas forums and look around at some of the trucks and cars.

Go with the Jeep!!!

Convert to a 4 link (1/4 Eliptic would be cool, but not as fun on the street), new X-fer case and axles w/ lockers, and have one amazing Jeep that will wheel wherever you want to take it.

The radio control car/truck is fun but just as expensive, only in 1/10 scale . Try to find an on-road or off-road track and check it out; I started with road racing then off road racing and finally I ended up with a 1/10 scale gas/nitro Funny car and a Pro stock bracket racer. Watching a car that weighs under 4lbs go 132' in under 2 sec. going over 70mph is sight to see.
