Think I'm going to die due to lack of sleep. It was all I could do to stay awake on the way home tonight. Not sure about a few miles of the trip, I don't remember them at all.

 

It's a fairly common latin expression. I do not speak or read latin. I just happen to know a few words and phrases. I assume that plenty of people here understood that particular one. It wouldn't be funny if nobody understood it.

I think I'd rather be shot, as horrid as it sounds. I don't really like needles, and I always wonder if the people are really dead or if they are still slowly dying. If you get shot you know you're dead for sure because of the big hole in your chest.
