Some of the exhibit type things sound fun, but being 19 it doesn't exactly sound like my ideal vacation...eventhough I hear otherwise from many people.
What might so special about this park that I would choose it over traditional ride parks (Six Flags)?

Go to Cedar Point in Ohio it is the king of all amusement parks.
If you enjoy rides that can be all encompassing and great "shows" than disney is great. Just dont expect thrill rides. To be honest a lot of the attractions at disney are showing their age....but you should still go at least once.
I wainting until my youngest is about 8 and then I'll take them down
The only ride at Disney that I enjoyed was the Test Track at Epcot. Seels out quick though. Get your pass early.
Universal is much better if you don't have any children or if the kids are older. Some of the better ones are the Hulk, Revenge of the Mummy, & Dueling Dragons. At MGM, check out the Tower of Terror. At Seaworld, be sure to ride Kraken.
I am thinking about Cedar point this year. Is there anything else to do in Sandusky?

Sandusky is a hole in the earth. Cedar Point is absolutely amazing though
THe first time I rode Millenium Force I dang near died of a heart attack. The seond drop is over 200 feet the first over 300...I rode up front and leaned forward at the top of the hill and I couldnt see the bottom....it was a Depends moment.
I've been to the one in Cali. (Disney Land) Disney World is in Florida. Do I have that right?
I have been told that Disney World is better than Disneyland. I do remember the Indiana Jones ride, that was cool. Other then that, I remember it mainly for kids.

No comparison.
Disney World in Florida, is the Magic Kingdom.
Disneyland is an amusement park.
Disneyland is 85 acres.

Covering 47 square miles, Walt Disney World Resort is about the size of San Francisco or two Manhattan islands. Of the more than 30,000 acres, less than one-fourth has been developed, with another quarter designated as a wilderness preserve.
I have a season pass to all the parks.. some highlights (in my opinion):
Epcot : Mission Space: pulls about 3 g's, simulated space ride, very fun.
Test Track : simulated test track from GM, high speed cornering at the end.. cool
overall, food is great at Epcot.. get a Margaritta in Mexico
Disney : Well, same ol same ol... rides haven't changed much.
MGM : ROckin' roller coaster with music by Aerosmith, Tower of Terror, otherwise, not much else.

I'll just have to find some places between SC and OH that are worth seeing.
