I like Valentines day, mainly because I've never had a g/f on Valentines day so there's no money to blow (and no blowing for me
). And I also work in a very nice restaurant where all of the guys feel obligated to take their significant others out to eat. Not a bad way to make a few 100 bucks.

You guys are recreating Pavlov's dog expiriments: Ring the bell, and the dog salivitates. But flowers and chocolate, and the man salivitates.
Valentines day isn't just for us girls you know. I always get my hubby a card and a little something for the day and we both enjoy a dinner out. . .BTW, he gets off easy, I'm not big on flowers, they just die. I'd be content with a card but he usually gets me something anyhow.
