I'm looking for a used f150, and I was just wondering, Are the flareside models more expensive and do they come withe the v6 engine. I love the flareside body, but I haven't really seen any for sale in my neighborhood.

Yeah the flaresides are a tad more expensive, but not by much. And yes they do come with v6 engines.

 

New they might be more expensive, but it's relative when used.
Same truck in style side might be a litlle cheaper than if it were a flareside.
But you can find somebody willing to sell a flareside for the same price or cheaper than you can get another styleside.
Flareside is ussually slightly harder to find, but they are out there and some may be cheap.

 

Easy there slim shady, make a more specific title next time...

The flair side wasn't ordered as much so they will be less common to find. I'm assuming you want the 97-03 b/c you want the V6. There out there, just have to look. Why V6?

like others here have said, just a little bit more on price.

The V-6 Engine would be a great idea since there pretty much bullet proof engines. IMO there one of Fords top of the line engines that you can depend on. That is if you don't plan on towing to heavy of louds, then you might wanna get a V-8, but the V-6 will still get the job done, just more effort.

There out there, you just have to look for them.
