I don't tip at events that have a beer booth and charge me $4.00 for a cup of beer. Well, sometimes after the 5th or 6th beer I may get a little soft I mean, they're standing in one spot and I have to go to them!

Mr Pink Says it best.

As quoted from Mr Pink from Resevoir Dogs(editied of course)

MR. PINK
Uh-uh. I don't tip.

EDDIE
You don't tip?

MR. PINK
No - I don't believe in it.

EDDIE
You don't believe in tipping?

MR. BLUE
You know what these chicks make? They make $h!t.

MR. PINK
Don't give me that. She don't make enough money, she can quit.

EDDIE
I don't even know a fudgeing Jew who'd have the ***** to say that. Let me just get this straight. You don't ever tip, huh?

MR. PINK
I don't tip because society says I have to. Alright, I mean I'll tip if somebody really deserves a tip, if they really put forth the effort, I'll give 'em something extra, but I mean this tipping automatically is for the birds. I mean as far as I'm concerned they're just doing their job.

MR. BLUE
Hey, this girl was nice.

MR. PINK
She was OK - but she wasn't anything special.

MR. BLUE
What's special, take you in the back and play with you?

EDDIE
I'd go over 12% for that.

MR. PINK
Hey Look, I ordered coffee, right? Now we've been here a long fudgin time, and she's only filled my cup three times. When I order coffee, I want it filled six times

MR. BLONDE
Six times? Well, you know, what if she's too fudging busy?

MR. PINK
Words "too fudging busy" shouldn't be in a waitress' vocabulary.

EDDIE
Excuse me, Mr. Pink - the last fudging thing you need's another cup of coffee.

MR. PINK
Jesus Christ - I mean these ladies aren't starving to death. They make minimum wage. You know, I used to work minimum wage. And when I did, I wasn't lucky enough to have a job society deemed tip-worthy.

MR. BLUE
You don't care they're counting on your tips to live?

MR. PINK
You know what this is? It's the world's smallest violin playing just for the waitresses.

MR. WHITE
You don't have any idea what you're talking about. These people bust their a$$. This is a hard job.

MR. PINK
So's working at McDonald's, but you don't feel the need to tip them, do you? Why not? They're servin ya food. But no, society says don't tip these guys over here, but tip these guys over here. That's bull$h!t.

MR. WHITE
Waitressing is the number one occupation for female noncollege graduates in this country. It's the one job basically any woman can get and make a living on. The reason is because of their tips.

MR. PINK
Fudge all that.

interesting debate... I am always willing to tip if the service is reasonable, but I have left 0 tip, and I've also left a tip of like 4 cents just to proove a point. If the service is THAT bad though I'll typically call a manager and make sure he knows about it.
I have left $20 tips on $50 meals before, and I've also left 4 cent tips on $50 meals, just depends how good they are.
I often will bring donuts or sandwiches to a shop that is working on my truck, but won't tip "cash".
However, theres a lot of things I dont tip for. For example, if I'm doing pizza carry-out, I dont tip, some do. I don't put money in tip jars unless someone went above and beyond to help me out or gave me extra meat in my sandwich or something without charging.
I tip the pizza driver, but considering he has to drive all of 2 blocks to get here, its not much.

Hell yea. The only reason I pickup the pizza myself is cause I'm too cheap to tip the couple bucks or whatever so I'll be damned if I'm going to put money in the tip jar.

I use to work with a guy that had been a pizza delivery guy before I knew him. Trust me and tip the delivery driver. They remember you and your address. Dont tip or tip next to nothing and I'd recommend that you dont eat that pizza you just ordered unless you like extra and unwanted toppings. We aren't talking about just spit either.

To hell with it. I'll never give into that excuse. As valid as it is, I won't play a part in it.

A friend of mine that use to deliver beer to restaurants told me if there is a restaurant that I like to never go into the kitchen or I'd never eat there again. Not that I've ever been invited to the kitchen at a restaurant, but... I figure that sometimes ignorance is bliss. I usually tip about 20%. The two things I base the tip on are

1) keep my drink filled,

and

2) dont p!ss off my wife.

If the latter of the two happens, it wont matter how content I am because my wife makes sure their tip sucks if we leave one at all. Plus she'll leave a note explaining her dissatisfaction.

What is with this attitude???? "I always tip because it's expected" To heck with that noise, I don't give a flying fig who expects it or what their measly wages are, if the service stinks so does the tip; if you're expecting a decent tip then you need to work for it - plain and simple!!! You don't get something for nothing so suck it up and start working for what you get, sheesh

I don't care. I've probably swallowed enough luggies, etc. in my lifetime and it hasnt killed me yet. Think of it this way, by the time ANY food gets to you, whether you buy it at the grocery store or at a restaurant, there is anywhere from 10-15 people who have touched that food prior to you getting it. If you look at something simple even as fruit, lets look at strawberries. There are the people that pick it from the plants, then the people that move it from the plants to the trucks, from the trucks to the distribution center, then cleaned, put on trucks again, delivered across the country, then dropped off at the grocery store warehouse, where it is then distributed to the grocery store, where it is stocked. Not counting all the people that picked up that package before you did.
Restaurants are worse, but you still have about the same amount of hands on it. You just now have to also include the attitudes of the cook/chef, the waiter, etc.
What I'm getting at is, any one of those 10-15 or even more people along the line have touched your food, got their gross hands on it, and possibly spit in it, pissed in it, or whatever. If you dwell on this fact, you will never eat another morsel of food in your life. Just go on, don't worry about retaliation as a major factor. If you dont feel like tipping, don't. While the idea of swallowing a loogie is gross, I've never heard of anyone being killed by one or even made sick as a result. If my steak aint done right, I'll send it back, and if I notice a loogie on top, I'll make them make me a new one AND take it off my bill, which will no doubt get the manager mad at the chef for wasting two perfectly good steaks. Loogie be damned.

LOL...if you want to be a player or pimp you better have 28s on your Hummer!

What an idiotic comment.

The REAL question is....FAT STRIPPER....Tip or No Tip? I say tip her...hell it takes a lot more guts for her to get up there than it does for a good looking girl. Besides, its just a dollar.
