Hey Hersh...Sounds like you had a blast. How did you like the Tropicana? They just opened the Quarter not to long ago. Its a pretty awesome place. LT is right, if you get down to southern Jersey all that hustle and bustle goes away, the traffic slows a bit and you can enjoy the ocean, the bay, some of the nicest beaches on the east coast and tons of really good seafood restaurants. Im not to far south of AC. Actually about 30 minutes, so I get to go there often. One thing...those "C" turns are actually called Jug Handles. Pretty crazy, I know.

Jug Handles, that's right... I couldn't remember that name so I made up "C-Turn" LOL...

The Tropicana was cool. Very nice on the inside. We ate at the seafood restuarant inside the Tropicana, and then the wive's did some shopping & browsing (Limited). My friend's wife snagged some $300.00 Channel shades, and my wife looked at a $42,000.00 sapphire & diamond necklace. Notice I said, looked at it... Everywhere I went I had my Cowboys hat on, with that big star on my forehead... I had to represent Dallas... Ran into three other families up there from the DFW area by doing that.

We played with the one-arm bandit (Slot Machine) for a while, taking turns. I won $22.50. They watched our son while we played, we watched their daughter while they played the slots. We made a day of it.

Yeh, those stores are pretty much all high end. Even the tinder box wine and cigar shop right next to the Red Square Restaurant. Was the guy painted all silver hanging around scaring the crap out of people? Hes a little short guy that can stand there without moving for ever, and then taps you on the shoulder as you walk by. I seen him scare so many people, its great...LOL

Well sounds like you had a good time. Thats awesome. I Love NJ

Although it has nothing to do with my trip to NY/NJ, a friend of mine (A girl, if you can believe that) sent me a bare camel photo of Paris Hilton that I would post for you to see, but, I can't do it....

I won't.

It's amazing how "Johnny on the Spot" those photographers are...
It's been a long time since I saw something that it wasn't meant for me to see.

Hersh, is that you in the blue toboggan with the finger in the air? My son and his wife go to New York every year for the week between Christmas and New Year. In fact, they return to Texas today. I bet they saw you there!

Yep, I was there- and if they saw a big black man in a group of 4 adults, one 5 year old, and one toddler, with a Cowboys or NYPD snug cap on, that was me.

That's not my hand though, I was behind that person, wishing I had a pair of gloves!

I'll send it to you guys tonight.

I have the "expandable" version on my home PC.
The one I have here is so small, you can't really see anything.

By the looks of those legs thought, she is eating (or workign out) and I like that. Toes are ugly as sin though...
