Actually its pretty funny cause 2 weeks ago i got stopped at 4 in the morning by suffolk highway partol doing 93 on sunrise . He was going to bring me in cause i had no identification on me. I was with my wife and he was nice enough to let her go home and grab my id. Well anyway we got to talking and he was saying they are supercharged!! He wound up being really cool and was like "you seemed to be a working man so ill let you go just show me your id when your wife gets back ". And thats exactly what he did. Really nice guy,no tickets,nothing.Hey Sal does he happen to be a spanish middle age guy,forgot his name, but if it is tell him Jason said hi.Just tell him the chimney guy with no Id on the side of sunrise for a halfhour at 4 in the morning.lol...

 

Being of the Law Enforcement type peoples, I have to give a +1 on this one.

The crown vics are just regular 4.6's with different rear end gearing for a wee bit better acceleration. i drive one every day and will be the first to tell you that they are a pos!

 

I'm not even sure about that much. This car had 3.27s stock. It has 3.73s now though.

 

No worries he is adding a govenor to limit the top speed to 45mph.

 

I don't know about them being a POS! I do know that Lidio of Alternative Auto here in Michigan has one doing 11.70's with a 125 hp shot of N02

Well you can get a 32V motor in a Maurauder.
But I've never seen a Maurauder that was a cop car.

 

And set the speed limiter at 85mph

 

A police intercepter has the same rear end as every other crown vic... Do you really know what makes a police interceptor? It's made on Monday and Friday and it has a firmer and slight later shift... that is it...
