I got page cannot be displayed for a couple minutes... When I got back, there were only 3 people in here...

Very slowly. I think we'll be seeing alot of threads disappearing. And possibly people.

No, it's just the Yahoo slurp spiders crawling all over the site and copying it for their search engine. I'm on another smaller vBulletin forum and there have been almost 100 of them on that site for a week now. That site has slowed to a crawl and now this site is acting the same way. Maybe if we just go away for a week until the $#&# spiders finish so we can have the site back???

I don't really like Yahoo. I can find what I need using the MSN Search engine.

I don't give a **** who likes what search engine, all I know is that my two favorite forums are now the two slowest g**d*** forums on the internet. And both of them are infected with Yahoo spiders making hundreds of page requests per second and making the sites almost unusable by the participating members. :rage:
