Here is the deal…

Liberals are indeed quite smart for being so stupid. They figured out how America works. In other words they know most of America works and don’t have lots of free time to be spewing about non-sense that means nothing for the vast majority of us.

Who goes to protest? Most of them are professionals and not just someone that decided to take a day off work, take a cut in pay, and not feed the family for a day to go marching around about some stupid BS.

The liberals learned long ago the squeaky wheel gets the grease. There can be 1 liberal to 100 other normal people but since the 1 liberal, a professional hater, professional protestor, professional thief, and professional illusionist has the free time and loud enough mouth if they spew long enough they can have many “weak minded” people actually believing what they, the liberal, says is actually true.

Think about it, you can have one nut case going around for weeks and months screaming the sky is green and if no one is responding back by telling people its actually blue you will have a lot of “weak minded” and poorly educated (thanks liberals) believing the sky is green and we need to drink red KoolAid to make the sky blue again.

It’s how they get people to drink the KoolAid…

I have always said the best way to end ALL liberal programs is for all us working people to just stop working for 6 months and let those receiving aid due to stupid liberal programs die off or step to the plate…

Only the strongest will survive and you can’t survive on KoolAid alone…

 

Even better '01, would be for us working folk to keep working, supporting ourselves and our families, and making sure at election time that liberals aren't in office to perpetuate these ill advised liberal programs. Then people who are dependant on these programs have a choice, step up to the plate or.....

I don't mind taking a few days off from work but I don't want or need a six month vacation.

I think it's too bad that these young college students feel the need to conduct themselves in the way they did when Coulter was trying to speak. I'm not sure how much the press covered the way the students reacted, or that they had organized specificly to disrupt the speech. I was listening to a CT conservative radio show today and the people from the UCONN campus, from both "sides" agreed that the disruption was planned. Now, where would students learn a tactic like that? ? So, what all the liberals are telling me that they think the country should be run like it's going through a bad divorce? That's pretty much how these "progressives" are choosing to conduct themselves.

 

Boortz had a brilliant point when he suggested that one must actually be a taxpayer in order to vote. Those who are at the recieving end of the tax dollars (welfare recipients, etc) should not have a vote as to how everybody else's money is spent. Those providing the dollars should be the ones voting.

But the liberal politicians have spent too many years promoting the 'evil rich' persona to the minions on which they feed. "Tax the evil rich in order to help the poor poor pitiful poor". The sapsuckers lap it up.

The Country is in desperate need of honest debate and the exchanging of ideas. Her contribution is to pour gasoline on debate and hope a spark ignites the process. She applies 90% of her rhetoric to attacking the messenger rather than the points of the message. It is easier than addressing the idea and it appeals to her ‘base’.

I dismiss her and others of her ilk as counterproductive. She isn’t good for the Country. There is no ‘value added’. She is making a good living driving opposing views farther apart.

No one can discuss serious issues with a constant smirk on their face, rolling their eyes, almost giggling with delight and have your and my best interests at heart. When I watch her, it’s as if she knows something I don’t and it’s something painfully obvious and she has to struggle to hold back laughter at anyone who doesn’t ‘get it’.

I believe she brings nothing to the table.

Raoul--Now put thew quotes in context. As I read them I could see two ways to interpret them. I've seen her in interviews and she does rub me the wrong way, but I have never seen where she has been spewing hate.

 

I guess since 'Hate Crimes' have been defined, using the word 'Hate' has become too strong to use in informal conversation. It's like I said 'Murder' or 'Rape' and where is my proof etc...

Allow me to change 'hate' to 'caustic' or 'bitter',
and add 'without social redeeming value'.

 

So... If someone, other than Ann Coulter, said the things she says, and without the attitude, then the message would carry more weight? If so, then I think we agree. I liked her at first; but, as time goes on, she grates on my nerves; and, it embarrasses me to admit we share a lot of common ground.
