Hey BREW... Let it go man... Last time I checked, I can post anything I please. It's a free country. If I desire to say that NJ sucks, I can say that. I don't jump in your case when you post anything so let it go. A liberal like you is not going to change my mind about this state, so stop trying to. I think it sucks and you think its great. Your reply about self defense shows just how little you know about this state. If it ever happens to you, you'll wonder why it is your in jail right next to the as$hole who broke into your house.
This summer, I was sitting in my driveway drinking some beers & smoking a cigar or two. These kids come flying down the street in a fart-can mufflered Honda at like 50 in a 25 & almost hit two people. The family that they almost hit were having a party with like 15 kids. The idiots in the car came back like 15 minutes later and tried the same sh$t again. This time the family stopped them and called the cops. The punks in the car called this guy's grandmother the "C" word in front of everyone. The guy then tries to drag the kid out of the car because they're trying to drive off. The guy was injured slightly from being dragged by the car. The guy, not the punks got arrested the next day because the kids pressed charges for attempted assault or some such BS. I witnessed it so they asked me to testify. I declined because I had been drinking. Even though they tried to drag a guy away in a car AAANNNDDD had several witnesses state they were driving recklessly the punk in the Honda got off scot-free. The guy down the street has a court date sometime this month. He may have already been to court, I'll have to ask him. So you can see, the victim has NO RIGHTS here, it's whoever has the best lawyer.
& just so everyone is clear on this, you CANNOT HOLD THE GAS STATION LIABLE IF THEY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE WHILE PUMPING GAS. IT'S STATE LAW, IT'S JUST SOMETHING WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH HERE IN NJ. Which is exactly why I get gas on McGuire/Ft Dix & pump it myself. (which Brew, shows how little reading comprehension you have) I never have a problem with a gas station attendant unless the voices in my head are acting up that day.
