Nuther way to look at this one.
They paid 30 bucks for a room that really only cost 25 bucks. They have a 5 dollar refund coming to them. They only collected a 3 dollar refund. How much of the refund is missing? 2 dollars, maybe? How much did the bell-hop pocket?

Where can you get a hotel room for 3 people for $30 or $25. If it was priceline, it would have already been paid for. Do you really think the $25 hotel would have a bell-hop?

Look at it this way....they paid 9 x 3 = $27.00. For a room that costs $25.00. There isn't 1 dollar missing, there is 2 dollars missing. The bell-hop has the missing 2 dollars.
