What would it mean (to you) to be rich?
Then, brick it in around the bottom, and add a metal roof garage on the side, and maybe a screened in porch, on a slab sseside the trailer...

Good luck. Winning that kind of money would be amazing.
None of the Canadian lotteries ever get that big but we do get to keep all of it. No tax. Most of them also pay out the full amount when you claim your winnings. There are only a few that pay over 20 years.
The 6-49 lotto was just won here. 35 million dollars tax free. I could squeak by on that if I had too.

--To be Rich?? Means to not be indebted to ANYONE, in my eyes.
First stop would be immediate family forsure. Then the relatives I have close bonds with, essentially to make their dreams come true (we are a family of generally modest dreams), next would be the circle of friends -- An Idea I had would be to take friends on test drives, before they knew I had money, act like I wanted their opinion on the car/truck I was going to purchase. If they like/loved it, I would hand them the keys and pay the tab.
I would be over-joyed to win a large lump sum of money, more-so to pay back all the people in my life that have influenced and guided me, loved me, or be-friended me, or come forward in times of need. Of course I would live well after I got the big lotto cheque, but my foremost concerns would be to make all those speacial people around me happy. As I would already be happy.
Hell, I'd probably drop of a cheque or two to some ex's, ones that still have speacial places in my heart, regardless of how we departed, not to woo them, but to show them, in monetary value, how much the relationship meant to me.
Anyways, as for me, I'd have a new truck, boat, and (maybe not new but) a nice house on lots of land, close to home.. As in, within 2 hours.
And I love the idea of throwing a chunk to SPCA, they are one charity that always needs more help, and I love what they do, as they hooked me up with my beloved Border Collie-Shepard cross.
I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'd tell Citi Bank to ***** off....
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't quit until the check cleared, and I know I have the money. I like my management team now, so I probably wouldn't act the fool- but, if I had won a year or two ago, I might've freaking showed up to work (In my Bentley) wearing blue & white boxers, grey slippers and a navy blue bathrobe (open), with black knee-length dress socks and a white t-shirt on, with a gold chain around my neck.
Then, be sitting at my cubicle, scratching myself (with both hands) waiting for someone to say something to me...
Two years ago... Absolutely.

I'd definitely have to take a chunk off the top to play with and get it all out of my system. Definitely get some toys and a house or 2, vacation, then set up trust funds for my neices' and nephew's education, and make sure the immediate family is comfortable. I'm not one to give huge chunks of money because it seems to cheapen it like I'm buying them off or something, but I'll make sure the money they make is theirs to do with what they want and not have to use it to pay bills or anything.
Hopefully 6 months to a year later I'd be able to start benefitting strangers. Again, not being into giving chunks of money away, I'd put together charity stuff sponsoring car shows, golf tournaments, etc. benefitting groups and charities that have helped close friends of mine over the years and doing it in their names so, even after their passing, they can still have a positive impact.
Then, I'd go out and get some more toys. Gotta remember to get a Powerball ticket tonight.

They say people that win the lottery are not considered rich since rarely do they make money off their winnings.

All I would need is 4 million. The intrest alone would be enough to retire and never touch the principle. Like that is goig to happen.
Won big would go to every place that is named in a song, with a big mother motorhome.
