tonite i'm taking mrs zap to see nine inch nails

but i just want to make mrs zap happy... even if its only for a little while




i'm going to wear my bruins jersey
i'll probably be the only person not wearing black and stick out like a sore thumb

What a worthless statement! I would be on my best behavior.....still scares the crap out of us normal folk.

 

Don't forget the earplugs. Nothing like music you don't care for blasting so frigging loud that your teeth resonate with the beat.

 

NIN...Rocks. I seen them a few years ago in Orlando. Really great concert. But if you want to fit in, your gonna have to wear a dress

No kiddin. I went to a NIN concert a few years back in Portland, OR at the Rose garden. We were in the nosebleed section and it was still loud enough to rattle your teeth. It was a good concert though, untill David Bowie showed up. All the younger folks like myself started leaving after the second song, and the 35+ crowd started engulfing the mosh pit. David Bowie and NIn is NOT a good mix.

we were seated behind a walkway..no seats in front of us...
i figure "wow we dont have to stand up all night"





oh how wrong


we had to look to the right to see the stage
nobody stood for the opening act (they SUCKED anyway)

but when trent and co. took the stage the whole place stood












except me







i sat the whole time and just goofed on the "mob"

it wasn't as loud as i thought it would be

they sounded good and all
but in the end...it was a long night

they went on at 9:30 and played 1 hr and 50 min

needless to say we did'nt get home 'till 1:45 a.m.






that = a day off for me and the mrs.

i did'nt get up 'till 11 this a.m.




and YES i stood out in my bruins jersey while everyone else was in black...


i was reminded however by the police that there "was no hockey game tonite"

yes there was they just played in 'philly

and lost in o.t. AGAIN!!!
