New Watch?

I'm thinking about asking my wife for a new watch for christmas. I've been looking at the Tag Heuer Link Quartz. I'm new to watches, so I'm looking to get some advice on brand, movement, etc. Thanks.

Cant go wrong with a Tag jrack. I've had mine about a year now and it keeps perfect time and still looks new (I'm rough on watches). I actually sold a Rolex yachtmaster after a few months to buy the Tag. Rolex's are waay over rated...mine kept crappy time and was NOT worth the money IMO. Good luck!

I have a Fossil that keeps perfect time! I've never even been late to work.

I've got this Seiko, and it is absolutely a dream. Never needs a battery; "sleeps" when it senses it is not in use.

I have 2 Tags that my wife has gotten me over the years.

They are great watches. Mine are battery powered so you have to get them changed about every 2-3 years.

Anyone that says Rolex's dont keep good time probably got scammed on a fake.

Rolex is hands down the best watch money can buy.

I also got a Breitling Avenger Seawolf on my Honeymoon. Big and beefy but light.

You may want to look into Breitling

Well no, actually I bought it from the biggest Jeweler in S.A. Wanted one for years and years...kind of a car business thing. And they are gorgeous watches but they DO keep crappy time, mine would lose 5-10 minutes a week. Guess its just a status thing, it cost more than my first new car!

I have had the Seiko kinetic for about 5 years. It is a great watch. I also have a Casio sports watch I wear when I am doing work around the house or on the truck. The casio is great for the money.

Did you take it off at night? I bought a GMT master when I lived in Illinois. I ended up selling it. For about 6 months I never took it off and it kept perfect time.

Yep, I just can't wear a watch to bed especially one that heavy. I guess its just like trucks, sometimes you get a bad one...no biggie.

I've found that Casio G-shock watches to be indestructible, I've got one now with the stainless steel band, solar powered, sleeps when not in use, it's great.

Try an Omega: I replaced a Rolex with the Omega and have never looked back. Keeps great time and looks good.
