Well, right now were thinking 9/23/06...

We/she originally wanted sometime in the Spring, but I told her there is only one condition on the marriage. We drive away in my '67 Belvedere, under its own power... and I just don't think finances will allow me to have it road worthy by Spring...

She's happy with the car idea, and has even decided to use the color of the car in the wedding (Go ManGo) somehow...

So, seems like all is well...

One of the guys I work with keeps telling me... That's fine drive the car from the wedding, but you'll need to put a for sale sign on it when you get home... He had to trade his '76 Vette for a Caravan...

Cool idea, hope everything works out for that! That gives you almost a year, should be able to get it running by then. Is it back from the painters yet?

thanks...

No, I need to call him... Gotta keep the fire under him stoked.
He does this sort of thing all day, then comes home, and works on my car. He just got done rebuilding a daily driver for himself, so he's gotta get a break sometime...

listo, yes I'm sure the wedding will cut into finances, that's why I need a year...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

I really enjoy being married. Yes, I loved being single as well, but that wore thin sometimes. I listen to friends that are miserable and think how lucky I am. I wish you the best to you and your wife. Make it fun, and it will be fun.
