Congrats! You'd better tell her up front that you both will have separate bank accounts. Lay down the LAW and do it early! J/K! Well, not really.

Yeah, and get a box to put you d**k in... You won't need it anymore after your first or second year.

aww who are you kidding. 6 months from now they'll have a checking account with her name on it and his check direct deposited into her account. He'll get an allowance if he is good.

His stang in a few years....

After we got married, we blended our accounts, but kept them seperate.

At my bank, I was adding my wife to my account and she was like, Oh yes, you are entitled to access on his account.. I said "What do you mean entitled?. I said it humorously, but- I was kinda serious.

She went on to tell me how as my wife, she had access to my account, as long as she could prove she was my wife- so it didn't matter if I added her to it, or not. Fine, so be it.... Jedi.

We left Fort Hood National Bank, and went on to Fort Hood Credit Union. She added me to hers, but her name was on the top line. The lady at the Credit Union was like: You want him on your checking account? I was like: "Hold up- She's entitled to be on my checking account, but over here it's {i]Do you want him to have access to your account?[i] What's up with that? Aren't I entitled?

I can't remember what she said- but, that was some serious B S right there...
