I've been keeping an eye on it but it moves to fsat for me.

I pulled a late night last night working on the truck, then got woke up early with wife trying to pass out and sever abdominal pains. Got that taken care of and less than an hour later my youngest daughter comes in with the same thing. 3 hours sleep between 2 cat nips put together, now I'm tired so wont be up much longer.

Me too!

Both of them are pretty tuff and dont cry unless it is bad. Especially my youngest daughter, she takes to much pride in being the tuff tom boy to be caught crying. They both had tears running down thier cheeks so it must hurt. I'm a big baby so I don't know if I can handle it or not.

But the good news is, that I think I got the truck fixed.

Previously, on a very special episode of Kobi Needs Sleep . . .

Kobi:

"I haven't slept in days and I'm wandering thru posts right now, kinda shaky and lost . . ."

"DAMN . . . I need to start drinking!"

"Is whiskey a good thing to start drinking with, because I think I'm going to need that."

" . . . does lots of Jack Daniels cause you to see white elephants? Because I think there's one standing next to my desk . . . and it's singing "Fly Me To The Moon" and it sounds like Frank Sinatra."

"Uh . . . I forgot . . . what are we talking about?"

*falls off couch, starts laughing, realizes he's drunk . . . gets up, reaches for heroin needle (yeah, he's been driven to taking up drugs too), goes to kitchen, slams self over head with frying pan, stops laughing*

PSS-Mag:

"I so wish that I was chillin with Kobi right now. This would be hilarious to see."

Kobi:

"No dude . . . you don't. It isn't pretty. I now know what Hunter S. Thompson saw when he wrote about BIG HAIRY BATS !!!!!

Damn! Those puppies are huge!!!!!"

*puts on sunglasses even though indoors - repeatedly hits self on head with frying pan*

"Oh NO!!!! MY FACE IS MELTING!!!!!!!"

40 some odd hours later . . .

We join Kobi after another night of no sleep (OK . . .actually he got about an hours worth).

He is tired . . . shaky, a bit wired.

He dare not take up drinking again as his first and only day of drinking led to some seriously depraved activity and turned into a nightmare replete with big hairy bats, man-eating giant chickens, and . . . well, let's just stop there because it's too horrible to mention.

Needing to get sleep, he decides to use the technique that worked so well for him the other day, and that is to slam himself in the face with a frying pan (works great for stopping hysterical laughter when inebriated, by the way).

Unfortunately, his frying pan is broken as a result of repeated blows to his own head.

Kobi goes next door and asks the lady who lives there if she will hit him on the head with a frying pan.

Kobi is a bit taken aback at how quickly she consents to this. He is equally disturbed at her enthusiasm while carrying this task out . . .

Something is very wrong here.

I. NEED. SLEEP.

By the way...how's your day?

Woke up late morning almost noon. I needed the sleep because the truck, then the wife, then a kid prevented me from having a re****l sleep Friday night. The few hours I did get wasnt a deep sleep. WHen I finally got up this morning then I got dressed then took family to my parents for Sunday lunch. My sister inlaw showed up with my 2 month old nephew. I hadn't seen him since a week after he was born. So I sat and played with him for a few hours.

Then I took the family on a Sunday drive thru the country side in the 150 to look at the start of the fall colors in the Ozark Mountains. Took a few good pics but non that are great. Will go out again next weekend and try again. All of the hardwood trees, "oaks, walnuts, black jacks, etc" are still green. While the soft wood trees "Dogwoods, Elms, Sycamore(sp?)" have already turned. Hopefully next weekend the hardwoods will turn and the soft woods might still have thier leaves. If so then we will have some spectacular scenary for a few days.

Pretty much what I would call a pretty good day!

Hey RJS:

That is a nice looking bucket truck you got there in your gallery....We picked up a 55' GMC last year for our maintenance department....got it for around $30k I believe....(been awhile since I opened that project folder)....

Thanks Bill. I got a pretty good deal, mine was a little less than that. I had a $40K budget ($30K for the truck plus $10K for insurance, repairs and incidentals) but I only have about $28K ($21K + $7K) in it and everything works well.

Yeah, I think I agree with you on Matt's sig.

I'm not sure if I am either.

The more I look at it the more that I am not sure if I like it. But I can't pin point what I don't like about it. Other than the overlay on top of the blower for the background is real close to yellow, and I hate red and yellow being next to each other. I know, I know that's suppose to be the power colors and is suppose to get your attention more than any other two colors. Maybe that's why I hate them so much becasue they are used so much in cheap marketing propaganda as well as a lot of unskilled, unplaned, ameture built ads.

Probably leave it up another day or two to make sure that I don't like it. I like the theme just not sure about the look.

I'm a Roth nut also. I have all kinds of collectables, etc. Model kits, Fink kits, all of it's cool. I think it is the yellow background that gets me too.,,,,98

A green fogged background could look cool?
