Actually, I didn't want to deal with the possibility of being accused of racism. Been through that and people can get downright insane once the 'racist' label has been applied. So I was being PC and going out of my way to avoid anything that might be construed as indicative of African-American characteristics or traits.

I will never understand why someone would do any of that to their body. I just can't imagine what flashes through the brain to make that seem like a good idea. Guess i am just too old.
