Mine has a spring loaded coin holder's as well...I think it depends on your seat configuration, also most of these posts seem to be in reference to the new 04-05 F150s.

you are right...

...if Ford used to offer this feature...why the hell would they provide a sub-par component in a newer design?....schitt like this frustrates me...

Agreed...I just got back from a trip to Knoxville, TN and I am really not a fan of drives longer than 4hrs in my F150....I think that I am going to redo my seats and add some "memory foam" to them...they are just to hard...even after 21k miles....

It's been 4.5 years now and it still hasn't run dry. The beer is very cold as well.

Way to go SVT!
My previous '98 and the '04 both had/have springs in the coin holders. As far as the beer tap.... I just got this thing a few months ago and I haven't found the tap your talking about. Did you get to choose the beer? Can I bring it to the dealer and get it filled with Long Trail Double Bag? On second though, Double Bag is strong stuff, and I would like to keep this thing in one piece.

No I didn't. I wasn't even aware of it's presence, until I was under the dash installing my gauges. It's all good though; because, I've never tasted nectar so sweet as free cold beer.

ummm, that was your heater core and the 'sweet nectar' was antifreeze.
Bottoms up!

My old man just bought a 2004 Chevy Silverado 5.3 and he's getting over 21 mpg on the highway (he also just bought a cabin in Alabama, lots of trips back and forth). He made several trips using my 2002 F150 5.4 and never got over 16. Regardless of EPA numbers, Chevy trucks get a lot better fuel mileage than comparable Fords.

Well...I am sure that the fact that Chevy's are significantly lighter than Fords have something to do with that...

I traded in an 02 Silverado Txt Cab with the 5.3. I get almost identical mileage from my heavier SuperCrew and ride a lot more comfortably.

I've seen a little add on coin holder that is spring loaded and can be attached inside the console with 3M tape. Problem solved, no need to run out and get a Chevy!!!

It would be nice if Ford could add a mist setting on the windshield wipers... If a 95 Seirra can do it, why the heck can't a 04 F-150?
