you are right...
...if Ford used to offer this feature...why the hell would they provide a sub-par component in a newer design?....schitt like this frustrates me...

Agreed...I just got back from a trip to Knoxville, TN and I am really not a fan of drives longer than 4hrs in my F150....I think that I am going to redo my seats and add some "memory foam" to them...they are just to hard...even after 21k miles....

Do you guys have a beer tap just under the driver side dash; or, is this too Lightning specific? I found it a rather strange addition to the vehicle. It is much appreciated though. It's been 4.5 years now and it still hasn't run dry. The beer is very cold as well.
Way to go SVT!

No I didn't. I wasn't even aware of it's presence, until I was under the dash installing my gauges. It's all good though; because, I've never tasted nectar so sweet as free cold beer.

Bottoms up!
My old man just bought a 2004 Chevy Silverado 5.3 and he's getting over 21 mpg on the highway (he also just bought a cabin in Alabama, lots of trips back and forth). He made several trips using my 2002 F150 5.4 and never got over 16. Regardless of EPA numbers, Chevy trucks get a lot better fuel mileage than comparable Fords.

Well...I am sure that the fact that Chevy's are significantly lighter than Fords have something to do with that...
