Thats what I figured, this whole idea, the whole meeting thing was just Zap trying to get a gig for his band!

 

i've been in this band for 18-19 yrs now

i bet we only played in front of a crowd maybe 15 times

but i've been on thousands of stages in other bands

Your on your own there. I'll set up the sound myself.

Lets think abvout this... You are perfroming for 80,000 people 10 of which are women. Do you really want 79,990 guys for your groupies?

Psh, do you really think that is going to be a problem in this crowd?

I can do the stage.
Stage lights and other effects I am sure that I can do, but have only assisted in set up, never designed or ran during a perfromance. I've really been wanting to play with a laser light design software and make a display for a show. I wil buy the software, we will have to rent the lights and other SFX equipment.

So we are a little less than 5K now.

 

We'll also need to try and find some big name badges so that everyone can have thier name, thier screen name, and thier signature so that we know who everyone is.
Think I'll just have a shirt made up with my signature screen printed or embroidered on the back.

I am beginning to agree.

I'm thinking that the way to do this is to teleconfrence it. I think the way to do this would be to have us all get online with iSight (or similiar) and have us see and talk to each other online . . .




Although if you have a small monitor, a couple of thousand faces on it all at once might be a bit much . . .
