Outlook users?
Okay, I use Outlook here at work. Not my favorite program, but it gets the job done and such...
But everytime I receive an email I get the login popup wanting my password. My password is already enter, and I check the little box that says remember, and click okay, but then it pops up again. If I'm receiving a large email 5Mb or more it may pop up 20 or 30 times... AHHHH!
How do I keep this from happening, please help...?

Try.
-Choose Tools | E-mail Accounts...
-Under Email, select View or change existing e-mail accounts, then click Next
-Select your IMAP Server and click on the Change... button.
-Under the Logon Information ensure that your username is in the User Name: box and your password is in the Password: box (NB: Your password will appear as *********).
-Check the Remember Password box.
-Click on Next >.
-Click on Finish.
Could be your .pst file. Try this, hope it helps.
On the File menu, click Data File Management.
Click the .pst file you want, and then click Settings.
Click Change Password and fill in the boxes with your old and new password.
To have your computer remember your password so that you don't have to type it in each time you open the .pst, select the Save this password in your password list check box.
Click OK.
On the File menu, click Data File Management.
Click the .pst file you want, and then click Settings.
Click Change Password and fill in the boxes with your old and new password.
To have your computer remember your password so that you don't have to type it in each time you open the .pst, select the Save this password in your password list check box.
Click OK.
Okay, all info seems to be correct in the account info, but when I tried to change my password for the .pst file it keeps telling me I have the wrong password. I only know of one password that I have for this account. Is this .pst password for some reason different than the one for the account? I guess this is why I keep getting the popup?
Running Norton Anti-Virus?
If so, disable mail scanning - Options > Mail (on the right) > remove check marks for mail scanning incoming and out going and then reboot the compouter (yes - REBOOT).
If that solves the prtoblem, un-install and re-install Norton.

Good luck.

Anyway, my point is that just because there is an issue with a program like Norton doesn't necessarily mean that Norton is at fault. Mine got messed up because I turned it off long enough to view something I shouldn't have been viewing anyway.

In the last couple days I've noticed that many ads are getting through (I hate flashing, blinking ads when I'm trying to read). By checking the settings it seems like something set about 100 different sites to allow all types of ads, banners, etc. I had to go through and remove all those allowances one at a time.
