Question iPod questions?

Is there any way to transfer songs/pics to an iPod photo without using iTunes?

Also, is there any way to delete songs from the iPod, using the controls on the iPod itself?

Thanks in advance guys!

None that I'm aware of. I had recently gotten an iPod Nano (Which I accidently left behind at the gym on Friday and no one had turned it in . . . bastards . . . but that's a different story) . . .

Not sure how it works on the bigger iPod photo, but I'm assuming it's the same.

On the Nano, to get photos in you have to use iTunes. The Nano shows up on your desktop as a drive . . . you could drag the photo into the nano, but only as a drive storage device which you could then download to another computer . . . but the photos you placed on the nano that way wouldn't be viewable on the nano itself. To actually see the photos you've got to import them thru iTunes.

Same with songs . . . and that brings up deleting songs....songs placed on the iPod with iTunes, are deleated with iTunes only.

There are quite a few.

I use vPod. All you do is plug in your IPOD, point to a directory where all your music is and select sync. Its fast, simple and WORKS. No BS.

Its Free TOO.

I used to use ANAPOD. Its costs $$ though. Its the BEST if you dont mind paying for it.

Also with anapod, you can only install it on 1 PC. If you try to install it on another the license will not carry over. Good software though.

Try vPod man. It is so slick. No bells and whistles.
