Just get the music from the movie American Graffiti. I love that list of songs. You have it already, but Wilson Pickett's Mustang Sally is fun to listen to as you roll down the road in a Mustang. May have to take mine out this weekend now. By the way, very nice Mustang.

How about

Dead Man's Curve - Jan & Dean
Little Old Lady From Pasadena - Jan & Dean
Hot Rod Lincoln - Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen
Little Honda - Hondells
Shutdown - Beach Boys
Little Deuce Coupe - Beach Boys

In reality, anything by the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, or the Surfaris would work.

The Ballad of Thunder Road - Robert Mitchum or Mark Collie

I'll get back to ya with more.

Vader, can't believe you came up with Thunder Road. Have you seen the movie? I remember watching that movie over and over as a kid, at a drive-in movie. WOW!

In 1957, the movie was awesome. Especially to 2 teenage boys that both had 1951 Ford coupes similar to what Mitchum drove in the movie.

Beep Beep - The Playmates

Off a Dr Demento CD

*** warning listening to this song while driving may be hazzardous to your driving record. The tempo constantly is increasing throughout the song.

"beep beep, beep beep, his horn went beep beep beep"

That song has been running through my head at various times for forty years. I love it!

How about " Caroline" and "Rockin' All Over the World" by Status Quo? If those two songs don't keep you awake and boppin', someone needs to tell you you're already dead...

regards
