Heyas

Hey yall,
New to the site and F-150s. Bought my first F-150 just the other day. 98 4.2L supercab sb. Love it to death. Also wanted to say thankyou for all of the thorough information you guys have provided regarding the 97/98 4.2.. Helped me a ton! The previous owners had suffered hydrolock at 80k miles and had the motor replaced in 01. Drives like a dream, cant wait to start working on her. Im embarrassed to admit I was driving a 95 Dakota sport for 8 years.... Good things come in time I suppose.

Thankx again

Welcome aboard!

Hang on to you lug nuts and tighten you carburetor belt because it's a wild ride around here with lots of weird characters. You will learn anything you could possibly need or want to know on here, maybe something’s that you didn't need or want to know. But we learn them anyway. Ohhh and you can learn a little bit about your truck on here too.

Even though his spelling and grammar are atrocious in the above sentence, Matt speaks the truth (OK, so he didn't actually speak it, he wrote it).

For example, did you know that armadillos can be housebroken?

It's true!

Merry Christmas. (Refer to Xmas decorations in September thread)

:santa:

And if Brewdude knew how to spell . . . he'd spell "writing" with one T and put an "s" in front of "upposed".

And by the way Brew . . . how do you know that Matt did not use a Tablet PC and use the handwriting recognition feature to enter his reply??????

Huh ??????

Maybe !?!?!?!?!

LOL
Yes but non the less it was horriable even by my substandard standards. Guess I should have read it after I typed it. That was one that even I had a hard time trying to figure out what I was trying to say when I re-read it. So I fixed it now.

"horriable"?

Never mind . . . y'all know I'm just giving you a hard time . . . .

But now, I'm off to watch LOST.

See Virtuous . . . we're just like a big, happy, dysfunctional family. By the way, Matt's the funny one and I'm the funny grammar-****, and Brew . . . well, he's from New Jersey.

Listen to kobi, he's our resident encyclopedia and he is right on the money with this phrase!! Check out his "Ask Kobi" thread if you have any deep philosophical questions you've always needed the answer to!

Oh and welcome to the site!! We do have lots of laughs around here!!

Well JUSTIN...now that YOU brought it up, I would like to see a picture of you in the boat. I mean, anyone can go to the local marina, take pictures and tell us all its their new boat. I think im starting to see the light here. Maybe you're just sniffing to many stain or polyurethene fumes and just think you have a boat....Thats it,,,we need pictures.

Kobi..i'm not from NJ..i'm from NY. I just happen to be misplaced right now.

Virtuous..What does that mean "my wifes from jersey, I can relate"? Thats a good thing RIGHT!!!!!

Sorry Dude . . .

By "from" I meant that's where you are at the moment . . . I didn't mean you were born, raised, and a total product of . . . New Jersey.

I heard joke that the worst thing you can call a New Yorker is someone from New Jersey . . .

I meant no harm or insult.

Please accept my apologies . . . you poor refugee from New York, you.

I hope and pray that some day, you will find your way back to your homeland.

Is that a fancy way to say that you are lost?

Don't worry Brew, mapquest tells me you are only 55 miles off coarse.
Head North East for 55 miles and you can't mis it.
Or....
Take the river to Sandy Hook Bay.
Then Bow due North.
If your compass is true then you will run right into it!
Good luck!
