I have the PERFECT beginner PC game. I would recommend this game for ANYONE (even you smeezy).

Blizzard's award winning game:

Diablo

It's an older game, but from the sounds of things, you have a lot of catching up to do. You can pick it up at Wally World for about 10 bucks, and you wont be disapointed.

The last two I've played and still go back to occasionally are Far Cry and Alice.

Sometimes when I'm in Dallas to visit the someday in-laws we'll hook up a couple laptops and PC's and waste an afternoon killing each other on Far Cry...

I think you need to narrow down what type of computer game. You can go from Solitaire to super complicated online strategy games that take weeks just to learn how to play.

Questions you need to answer:

Am I patient?
Do I like to shoot things and blow stuff up?
Do I like games that require a fast reaction time?
Do I like puzzles?
Do I like card and casino games?

http://games.yahoo.com/ you can try that for starters.

Smeezy, you assclown, just go get Diablo and try that out. Takes no computer knowledge what so ever.

That will get you started.

10 bucks, and you will thank me. I play it still from time to time.

Remember, it's an older game, but still a great game to learn from.

Back in the day Age of Empires was cool. Any Rainbow Six stuff, and Motocross Madness....

Now the only game I play on is Photo Shop and Pennicle Studio 9.

You can get demo's of most First person shooter games. Only problem is most of them are LARGE files and will take forever to download on a dialup connection. Now, if you could download the files at work and burn to a cd to take home....

www.unrealtournament.com

good first person shooters...

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categorie...es/default.asp you can browse through current games here and then find their wesite to find a demo.
