there's my favorite game currently. It's getting a little dated, but there's still quite a few players out on the web.

Any of the Tom Clancy games, especially the Rainbow 6 series, any of the UnReal Tournament series "but I liked the first one the best", any of the Medal of Honor series. You can ussually find any of those at a game store used for $2-$3 each.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert (but not the newer stuff)! The best game in the world, build your own base, tanks men and kill your enemy... AWSOME!! Halo, Diablo, and some of the others are pretty cool as well.

Sorry I can't really help you. My favorite computer games are Spider Solitaire and Mah Jongg....boring by your standards but I like them.

Quake....older game with a great story and the soundtrack makes it one of the best.

and when your ready for a new level

Aliens Vs. Predator 2...play it at three in the morning with the lights off. It's the only game that actually gets my heart rate to spike.

Blizzard's award winning game:

Diablo

It's an older game, but from the sounds of things, you have a lot of catching up to do. You can pick it up at Wally World for about 10 bucks, and you wont be disapointed.
I have to diasagre.... Diablo 2 is 100 times better than Diablo.....just a personal opinion

Years Ago I was addicted to the original civilization. Then CivNet came out and productivity at work dropped like a rock cause we were all playing over an IPX network. Civ2 and Alpha Centauri are great too.

My latest and greatest was

Knights of the Old Republic and its sequal both great games but require patience and puzzle solving to some extend.

Diablo was great, Diablo2 was amazing and the addon to Diablo2 was worth the money too.

The only game I am looking forward to now is anything on Nintendo's Revolution. The idea of Wifi and playing my old NES games have me hyped. I'll pick up a ps3 too but just for the newer stuff that wont come out on Rev.

I just downloaded the demo for this game...

F.E.A.R.

I haven't got into it yet, but the opening looked pretty cool.

For the mention of Civilization (thank you Sid Meier) and Civ 2 you are my new personal hero. I still spend hours of every month pounding the scenarios of Civ 2. Good times, good times.
